These drill press vises feature high tensile cast iron and removable steel jaws. VS-P150, 1-1/2" vise is machined on two sides as well as the bottom, allowing it to be used laying on the side surfaces. 2-1/2" and 4" vises have a painted finish on the sides and cannot be used laying on its side. One jaw is grooved vertically and horizontally to hold round parts.

Pushing down the locking lever actuates the eccentric crank and locking ring. The clamping pressure can be varied by turning the adjusting screw. The design of the 3" model is different than the photo - has slots rather than lug holes for mounting.
